It's late and I need to get up at 3:00 am tomorrow to leave for Anchorage. I'll be back in a month! I'll write more when I get back. Until then, enjoy the pictures!

I had the pleasure of hearing Mom and Dad's reaction to the photos over the phone. When you get back, I'll reenact it for you. It's delightful.
I'm generally a pretty supportive significant other, but not in this case! And all I could do was watch and take all the pictures...

I'm guessing most leaves of absence don't start with the ritualistic shaving of the head and the alcoholic cleansing of the spirit...=)
